The iFunia app is easy and fun to use. You can import your photo collections in such formats as jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tiff, psd, and more. Photo Slideshow's built-in media manager makes it a breeze to browse and find your files on your Mac's hard drive or external drives. You can import pics from iPhoto, iTunes and other apps. With Photo Slideshow's built-in photo editor, you can click a pic to rotate, crop and enhance it with special effects like Black & White, Sepia, X-ray, Flipped, and more. You can then drag-and-drop your media files into the software's Storyboard and organize them in the order in which you wish to play your movie. Next you can personalize your shows with titles, captions (available in a variety of fonts) and transitional effects (dozens are included), then insert audios or your own voice narration as background music. All this is easy and intuitive. For example, you add transitions by dragging the transition effect onto the film reel next to your photo, then click to preview. Once you've happy with the slideshow you've made, you can export it with a high resolution of 1920 x 1080. Photo Slideshow lets you burn slideshows to DVD, save them as video files, or optimize them for portable devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The app comes with several DVD templates with themes such as Nature, Holiday, and Cartoon. Another nice touch: if you create several slideshows in one project in Photo Slideshow, they'll be displayed neatly in tabs above the timeline. This provides you with a complete overview — even on large projects. To sum it up, Photo Slideshow is a powerful slideshow app that's easy enough that just about anyone can be using it quickly. It's simple enough for beginners, but has 'power features' that will make more demanding users happy.
